Job Title: Windows & Mac Desktop Engineer (Workplace Technology Engineer)

Location: New York City (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)

Overview:

We’re looking for a hands-on Workplace Engineer who’s passionate about improving end-user productivity across both Windows and macOS environments. This isn’t a break-fix support role — it’s an engineering position focused on designing, scaling, and deploying world-class workplace solutions that empower a sophisticated user base to perform at their best.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, build, and roll out third-party productivity and collaboration tools across the enterprise
• Lead technical initiatives and projects that improve user experience, automation, and operational efficiency
• Design and implement endpoint management solutions for both macOS and Windows devices using tools like Jamf and Intune
• Maintain a secure and scalable MDM environment, ensuring compliance and seamless device lifecycle management
• Collaborate with InfoSec, Networking, and Application teams to integrate new technologies into the enterprise ecosystem
• Evaluate, test, and deploy modern productivity applications and system enhancements that streamline workflows
• Develop scripts and automation to simplify desktop provisioning, patching, and updates
• Provide Tier-3 engineering support for complex endpoint issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a Desktop or Workplace Engineer in a mixed Mac/Windows enterprise environment
• Deep understanding of MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune) and deployment automation tools
• Proven experience leading technical rollouts or modernization projects at scale
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms (O365, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.) and integration best practices
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation and deployment tasks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate tech into business value
• Experience supporting demanding, tech-savvy end users (finance, media, or tech industry background a plus)
