Work on areas related to month-end close process, including completing NAV packages with all relevant supporting documentation, calculating performance figures, and assisting with corporate and regulation S-X reporting. Collaborate with the deal team on tasks as it relates to financial reporting objectives of the team. Attend meetings with vendors and third-party providers of services including, sub-administrators, custodians, transfer agents and valuation firms. Identify and analyze daily cash activity for fund entities and coordinate with the administrator and the deal team for activities. Assist Controllers with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed. Position based in New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted up to twice per week.Minimum Requirements:Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration or a related field and 4 years of experience in portfolio or partnership accounting. Education, training, or experience must include: working in public, private fund, CLOs, Credit Hedge Fund, or financial services; evaluating process controls, procedures, and flows; valuation of illiquid and liquid assets; Microsoft Excel; and, data management tools including Altyrex, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar. Experience may be gained concurrently. Position based in New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted up to twice per week. We are offering a salary of $150,000 to $190,000 per year.
