Company Overview:

A leading global private equity investment firm with $49 billion of equity capital under management is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their finance team. The role involves managing complex fund structures and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the month-end close process, including detailed review of NAV packages.
Calculate management and incentive fees for hedge fund and private equity style funds.
Coordinate the year-end audit process for various fund structures.
Prepare and coordinate SEC regulatory reporting related to 10Q/10K filings.
Perform portfolio valuation reviews and profit & loss attribution reporting.
Respond to investor inquiries and ad hoc requests.
Maintain comprehensive tracking of fund-level expenditures.
Oversee daily cash flow analysis across multiple fund entities.
Generate and distribute internal fund reporting.
Lead special projects and process improvements focused on SEC compliance.
Employ advanced technology and automation tools to improve audit workflows.

Qualifications:

CPA preferred, with 5+ years of public accounting experience.
In-depth experience conducting audits and substantive testing procedures for SEC regulatory filings.
Strong technical proficiency in U.S. GAAP as it relates to investment companies.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Alteryx, and audit automation platforms.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hr
