Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Manager for its New York, NY location.
Duties: Document, drive, and track multiple complex and interdependent new and Business as Usual (BAU) initiatives/projects within Equities E-Trading applications. Investigate E-Trading related matters and determine business impact and/or value. Support Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) specific to E-Trading applications. Draft E-Trading applications relevant initiatives through the regional New Products Approval (NPA) process. Assist the Global Equity business to drive a robust E-Trading framework. Collaborate across the Business, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Business Controls and Supervision teams instituting E-Trading best practices. Enforce new E-Trading policies and ensure business applications meet the requirements. Draft high-quality E-Trading documentation for internal and external communication. Create materials for quarterly E-Trading Governance Forums. Align regional E-Trading procedures and standards to global enterprise-wide policies specific for the E-Trading applications. Deploy best-in-class practices for safeguarding and restricting access to highly regulated trading products (e.g., Systematic, Internalizers, etc.) as well as other products and services within the business. Maintain an inventory of E-Trading Controls for monitoring E-Trading applications, breach thresholds, approval process for changing limits and thresholds, as well as the escalation protocol for breaches. Ensure adherence and documentation of E-Trading applications and strategies pertaining to change management, strategy changes, application changes, and control limit changes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation implementing E-trading control framework within the financial services industry. Employer will accept 3-year or 4-year degrees. Four (4) years of experience must include: Reviewing equity market structure and assessing local market requirements for the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil; Partnering with Equities Electronic Trading business across North and Latin America and supporting the execution of E-Trading risk remediation book of work; Utilizing trading systems including execution and order management systems and their associated control frameworks; Implementing E-Trading Policy and leading proper governance forums as it relates to E-Trading controls; and Documenting adherence of E-Trading applications and strategies pertaining to change management, incidents, error reviews, and periodical limit reviews. 40 hrs./wk.
