Our client, a growing technology firm focused on security is looking for a Senior Level Engineer to join their team. They are working with great technology and have a fantastic benefit package.
As a full-stack Senior Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team aimed at expanding the offerings for both on-prem and cloud-based products. This is a hybrid role in New York, NY.
Your tasks
- Lead the development of one or more products
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level team members
- Scope work, manage project priorities and deliverables, identify risks, and develop solutions to mitigate them
- Derive requirements, develop, and test complex features
What you’ll need
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Ideally looking for significant experience with Rust , Go and C++
- Additional proficiency with back-end items like Python, Node.js and a front-end including React, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent
- Proficiency with compiled languages (Rust, C/C++)
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of encryption
- Solid understanding of Linux
- Familiar with DevOps concepts, and test and deployment automation
