Title: Finance Recruiter
Duration: 12 Months
Location: New York, NY 10041 (Hybrid)
2 days onsite (Wednesdays would be mandatory onsite) and other days would be remote
Payrate: $56.13/hr on w2
The Team:
As a member of the recruitment (People Movement) team, you will work closely with team members in the Americas region and across the globe. You will play a significant role in initiatives to improve efficiencies in recruitment, enhancing our talent acquisition processes.
The Impact:
This role is key to ensuring the successful recruitment of high-quality and diverse talent for Client. In working with us, you will be exposed to a professional, high-level consultative environment across multiple job families and beyond talent acquisition. You will also advise on complex recruitment issues, using analytical perspectives to inform strategies that meet dynamic hiring needs. This position is a fixed-term contract role, offering an opportunity to contribute to our team while gaining valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
• Execute a FULL cycle recruitment process; including internal and external talent sourcing, professional recruitment screenings, talent pipeline development, and offer negotiation.
• Educate and influence business leaders and HR to actively adopt and promote recruitment best practices.
• You will also advise junior colleagues in recruitment processes to achieve defined goals and objectives, fostering growth and development within the team.
• Provide expert advice, data/metrics, market intelligence, and recommendations to hiring leaders to support key recruiting decisions.
• Utilize talent analytics to improve key recruitment metrics such as Internal Mobility, Diversity, Hiring Leader Satisfaction Score, or Time to Fill.
• Focus on new and innovative techniques to ensure a positive candidate experience, for both hired and declined candidates, to reinforce the brand reputation.
• You will engage with and influence peers and leadership in recruitment discussions, fostering teamwork and shared success.
• Manage relationships with Global Ratings business leaders and HR partners in the Americas.
• Build relationships with peers outside of the recruitment team/function to enhance collaboration and strategic alignment.
• Stay informed on, and adhere to, the global client policies; Immigration, Relocation, Agency, Referrals, and Offer Letters.
• Work with Rewards, Legal, Benefits, Relocation, and Immigration in an effective, efficient manner.
• Maintain a strong understanding of business and industry.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence by remaining positive and focused despite challenges.
• Attend DEI events and career fairs to attract diverse talent.
• Work with external agencies when required, within a controlled framework.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of corporate recruiting experience required.
• Experience recruiting in Ratings agency, financial services, and/or credit roles to guarantee a good understanding of the industry and associated talent market trends is required.
• Experience with ATS/HR systems (Workday preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure that expectations are clear, feedback is constructive, and relationships are built on trust.
• Proficient in all sourcing techniques available to internal recruiters, from generating internal applications and quality referrals to approaching external talent directly.
• Demonstrated ability to educate, advise, and influence stakeholders, and to drive and deliver tangible results for the business.
• You should also have excellent analytical skills to analyze resumes, assess candidate qualifications, and make informed decisions quickly.
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
• Be able to network effectively, establish rapport with candidates, and cultivate relationships that can lead to referrals and a strong talent pipeline.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
• You should be adaptable, working with incomplete or conflicting recruitment data, identifying options in non-routine situations to ensure flexibility and responsiveness.
