Nurse Practitioner – Vascular Medicine

Annual Salary: $120k-$150k (Varies depending on years of experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our client’s growing Vascular Medicine team. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, providing care to adult patients with a wide range of vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, venous disease, thromboembolic disorders, and other circulatory concerns.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner interested in developing or expanding their clinical expertise in vascular medicine. We offer structured onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing training for candidates without prior vascular experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and follow-up visits for patients with chronic vascular conditions
• Collaborate with vascular physicians to manage diagnostic workups and treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on vascular disease, risk factor management, medications, and lifestyle interventions
• Support coordination of care including imaging, labs, and referrals
• Participate in daily rounds with the vascular medicine team
• Perform admissions, progress notes, and discharge planning for patients admitted with vascular-related conditions
• Manage acute issues under the supervision of vascular attending physicians
• Facilitate transitions of care and communication with outpatient teams
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in NY; national certification required (e.g., ANCC or AANP)
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP)
• At least 1 year of NP experience preferred, but new graduates or NPs transitioning from other specialties are welcome to apply
• Experience with adult or internal medicine patient populations strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfort with a dynamic role that includes both inpatient and outpatient care
