We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the visual identity and brand strategy across all customer-facing content. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the creative direction by franchise and age demographic—ensuring everything from model photography to digital banners aligns with both brand vision and licensor standards.
You’ll lead a creative team, guide their output, and partner with merchandising, e-commerce, and licensing to ensure that every asset—from PDP images to homepage campaigns—delivers a cohesive, high-impact experience that resonates with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Visual Direction
- Define and document visual standards by franchise (e.g., Marvel vs. Disney Princess) and demographic (baby, toddler, kid).
- Oversee creation of creative briefs for lifestyle photography, PDP image sets, email banners, A+ content, and more.
- Translate licensor assets into franchise-right, conversion-driven creative executions.
- Manage and mentor a team of designers, photographers, stylists, and freelancers.
- Review all creative deliverables—providing detailed feedback to uphold quality and consistency.
- Ensure deadlines and brand standards are met across all projects.
- Plan and direct photo shoots: defining model selection, outfit coordination, set design, and shot lists by age range and property.
- Ensure photography captures both product and emotional tone: imaginative, expressive, character-led.
- Guide visual strategy across all customer-facing channels:
- Amazon: Main images, infographics, and A+ content.
- Shopify: Homepage creative, franchise landing pages, collection imagery.
- Email & Social: Design and direction for branded communications and promotions.
- Liaise with licensors (Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, etc.) for creative approvals and brand guidance.
- Ensure all content meets property-specific requirements and secures timely licensor sign-off.
- Use performance metrics (CTR, conversion, engagement) to refine creative strategies.
- Collaborate with e-commerce and digital marketing teams to test and optimize assets.
- 7–10 years of experience in brand marketing, creative direction, or visual strategy—preferably in apparel, licensed products, or children’s consumer goods.
- Strong creative leadership skills with a proven ability to guide a team and manage high volumes of visual content.
- Portfolio showcasing effective visual storytelling across different channels and customer segments.
- Deep understanding of franchise marketing, age/demographic targeting, and shopper behavior in the kids' space.
- Experience working with licensors and managing brand asset approvals.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
