Overview

The Publics Media Finance team is currently seeking a Financial Analyst suitable for a highly motivated and analytical individual who will play an integral part in the reporting, budgeting and forecasting process.

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyze and distribute monthly reporting to business leads, providing commentary as appropriate
• Work with manager to provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting
• Assist with preparation of monthly forecast
• Assist month-end close processes including revenue/expense calculations and analysis, creation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and review and adjustment of revenue-related accounts
• Support in completing all reporting, scheduled and ad hoc
• Assist in preparation of supporting documents for financial audits
  
  

Qualifications

• Motivated individual with a strong work ethic, able to work independently or collaboratively
• 1-3 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role
• Advanced MS Excel modeling skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables)
• Proficiency with MS Office/PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with diverse groups agency-wide
• Thrive working in a fast paced environment
• Passionate about the business with a strong desire to continuously improve performance and service
• Should be comfortable working directly with senior finance and business leadership
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA (or working towards) a plus

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $71,645 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
