Description
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Brooklyn, New York on a Part Time basis. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in managing various human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR systems and processes, along with strong communication skills to support a dynamic financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee employee relations to ensure a positive and productive workplace environment.
• Administer and manage benefits programs, including enrollment, communication, and compliance.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Utilize HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce to manage employee data and processes.
• Support recruitment activities by assisting with ATS processes and candidate tracking.
• Provide guidance on FMLA and other leave-related matters to employees and managers.
• Collaborate with management to address workforce planning and organizational development needs.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to align with company goals.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of HR metrics and analytics for decision-making purposes.
Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a detail-oriented environment, preferably in financial services.
• Proficiency in using HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment processes.
• Knowledge of FMLA regulations and leave management policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. TalentMatch®
