Associate at TD Securities (USA) LLC, New York, NY (F/T)JOB DUTIES: Support senior management with identifying and developing growth opportunities for banking services and facilitate strategic decisions, including client franchise, product capabilities, and location strategies. Conduct financial analyses related to investments. Collaborate on projects to develop business opportunities and plans. Prepare internal strategy presentations in partnership with banking and other product teams. Maintain and use a number of materials/databases to generate market trends, statistics, and strategic analyses. Maintain knowledge of market data, economic information, and key industry developments, as well as regulatory standards, to assist in maximizing profitability through sound and well-informed decisionsJOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered, as Analyst, or related position involving financial analysis for investment banking. Full term experience must include each of the following: Conducting mathematical analysis, providing advisory services, transaction execution, due diligence, and risk assessments within the banking industry; Conducting statistical analysis using Excel; Using Excel for financial analysis; Presenting business cases, analyses, and strategic narratives using Power Point and similar tools; Dealogic; Investment banking including working with capital markets products and services; and, Making strategic decisions to conduct competitive and client analytics to gain competitive advantage in investment banking, including selecting optimal metrics and data/data sources.
