Position: Interior DesignerEmployer: Studio Whynought, LLCJob Location: New York, NYJob Duties: Will work on all phases of projects, including pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration. Will develop design concepts which capture the project-appropriate look and attitude, reflecting branding and positioning with architecture, color, finish matters, including FF&E (Furniture, Fixture & Equipment); will prepare hand sketches of architectural and FF&E ideas that work in the space and meet intended design goals. Independently develop final set of production documents based on an approved set of schematic design (SD) documents; produce clear sets of FF&E quality specifications within budget; will troubleshoot problems on-site and will serve as a project lead while meeting with outside clients and their management teams, architects, engineers, contractors, purchasing agents and signage contractors.Minimum Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and sixty (60) months of experience as an Interior Designer, Architectural Designer, or in a related position.How to Apply: To apply, email resume to [email protected] and reference job code: AM-25.
