Job Title: Interior Designer – Hospitality Experience Required
Location: New York City
Salary: $75,000–$105,000 per annum

Position Overview:
urban is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer with proven experience in hospitality design to join their client's NYC team. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, design-focused environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful interior environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support design development across hospitality projects, from concept through to completion.
- Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Produce renders and 3D sketches to communicate design intent.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Source FF&E, develop material palettes, and create specifications that align with brand and project vision.
- Participate in client presentations and meetings.
- Stay current with hospitality trends, New York code, and materials.
- Manage timelines and project milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Interior Architecture.
- 4+ years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio of built hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong conceptual, technical, and visual communication skills.
- Solid understanding of FF&E selection, documentation, and procurement (Studio Designer is preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (we do not sponsor visas).
