Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the commercial real estate industry, based in New York. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing a variety of accounting functions, including general accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close. You will also be involved in liaising with auditors, performing balance sheet analysis, and managing ad hoc projects as needed.



Responsibilities:



• Manage and oversee various accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Conduct thorough and accurate month-end close procedures.

• Engage with auditors and provide necessary documentation and information for auditing processes.

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and conduct intercompany accounting.

• Perform balance sheet analysis and various reconciliations as required.

• Take on ad hoc projects as requested, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

• Utilize knowledge of accounting software, such as Concur, to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

• Contribute to efforts to automate processes, aiming for increased efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Proficiency in Concur expense management software

• Extensive knowledge of general accounting functions

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven skills in conducting auditing processes

• Ability to prepare and analyze Consolidated Financial Statements

• Understanding of Intercompany Accounting procedures

• Experience in managing Month End Close activities
