Robert Half is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a boutique law firm in New York!







Schedule and Compensation





+ Start Date: June 2025



+ Duration: Ongoing



+ Hours: 30-40 hours per week.



+ Location: On-site preferred,



+ Compensation: $70+hour









Responsibilities



As a Litigation Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s litigation team. Specific duties include:





+ Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on construction, real estate, and zoning/land use legal matters to assist in case preparation.



+ Draft Legal Documents: Prepare discovery responses, briefs, pleadings, and motions with attention to accuracy and detail.



+ Document Review: Analyze and review litigation documents and contracts to identify relevant information for cases.



+ Discovery Work: Handle discovery demands, ensuring compliance with deadlines and legal standards.



+ Pleading Support: Assist in developing and drafting pleadings tailored to individual cases.



+ Deposition Preparation: Collaborate with attorneys in preparing for depositions, including drafting outlines and gathering supporting documents.









Requirements



+ Licensure: Must be barred to practice in New York (active license required).



+ Experience: Prior experience in commercial litigation preferred.



+ Skills:



+ Strong legal research and writing capabilities.



+ Familiarity with litigation processes, discovery demands, and document preparation.



+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.



+ Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
