Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. The Art Director will serve as a creative lead on promotional campaigns for Peacock’s original and acquired series, sports, brand initiatives, and more. This role requires a strong design vision, clear direction, and strategic thinking across all phases of creative development. Working closely with a cross-functional team, the Art Director will oversee the execution of 360 campaigns—including key art, motion graphics packages, social, OOH, print, and digital deliverables—ensuring work is visually compelling, brand-consistent, and strategically sound. Responsibilities: + Lead creative development across print, digital, and motion design + Ensure all work meets brand standards and campaign goals + Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Press, and Social teams to align on strategy and execution + Guide in-house designers and provide clear direction to agency partners + Oversee multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with efficiency Source and manage external creative talent as needed Qualifications: + 5+ years of design or art direction experience in entertainment, streaming, or agency environments + Strong portfolio showcasing conceptually and visually driven work + Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of both off-air and on-air design + Experience with photo shoot production and post + Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities + Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills + Strong leadership and collaboration skills; passion for mentoring and team development + Deep knowledge of design trends, pop culture, and visual storytelling + A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration.
