Position Overview
The Residential Aide will work under the supervision of the Program Director and provide shift coverage, with possibility of flexible, rotating shift schedule, and weekend coverage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor participant safety and safety of the premises
- Conduct facility runs to ensure security, safety and program standards are maintained
- Disseminate pertinent information to the participants
- Monitor surveillance system
- Write incident reports
- Document hourly observations of the premises in log book
- Attend training as assigned
- Other duties as requested by supervisor
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with people experiencing homelessness in congregate setting
- Experience in de-escalation
- Knowledge of AWARDS, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
