Job summary:
The Account Manager / Client Services professional will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of our insights platform services to beauty and personal care brands. This role requires a customer-centric individual with a deep understanding of the beauty and personal care industry and a proven track record in account management and client services. Reports directly to the CMO.
Responsibilities:
- Lead client communications including the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring smooth setup and delivering comprehensive training sessions, and product updates
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, collaborating with technical support and product development teams to resolve issues and proactively mitigate potential challenges.
- Analyze client usage data, providing insights and recommendations, and deliver regular reports on key metrics at both the client and industry level.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, upsell additional services, and present renewal proposals, meeting and exceeding retention and expansion targets.
- Develop and update training materials to support client education.
- Work with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies, participate in cross-functional meetings, and support new team member training.
- Proven experience in account management or client services, preferably within the beauty or market research industry.
- Strong understanding of the beauty market and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other client management tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding account management targets.
- Highly organized, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
