We deliver the freshest, highest-quality groceries and food in New York. Imagine fish caught in Iceland, served on a dinner table the next day. With more than 12,000 products—many only available on FreshDirect—we bring both everyday groceries and rare produce directly to New Yorkers’ homes. Our team of 3,000 people works out of a 60,000 m² fulfillment center only minutes from Manhattan. FreshDirect is more than a delivery service—it’s part of daily life in the city.

Product Manager:
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding customer needs and market trends through research, analysis, and feedback.
- Developing product requirements, specifications, and user stories.
- Working closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Managing the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, including testing and iteration.
- Contributing to product marketing strategies and materials, ensuring effective product communication and promotion.
- Tracking product performance, analyzing data, and making adjustments to improve the product and its performance.
- Managing communication and expectations with various stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Prioritizing product features and enhancements based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business goals.
- Experience in digital product lifecycle management, technology build vs buy decision making, and customer-centric innovation.
- 4+ years of experience in product management, including product roadmap development, execution, feature prioritization and successful feature rollouts.
- Proven experience in market research and user research to identify customer needs and opportunities related to e-commerce / Omni channel background.
- Strong background in leveraging analytics to guide strategic decisions, with experience in data science a plus.
- Experience in understanding customer funnel for DTC products, tracking customer behaviors, and monitoring product performance.
- Experience in leading product teams in e-commerce grocery / food delivery industry is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions is crucial.
- A good understanding of technology and software development is often required.
- PMs need to be able to identify and solve problems that arise during the product development process.
- PMs need to be able to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- PMs need to be able to think strategically about the product and its future, aligning it with the overall business goals.
- A strong understanding of user experience principles is important for creating products that meet user needs.
