Project Manager - Energy Storage (NYC)

A growing infrastructure developer in the clean energy sector is hiring a Project Manager to support the execution of energy storage projects across New York City. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of projects from design and permitting through to construction and grid connection.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and contractor performance.
• Track project costs, maintain controls, and identify savings opportunities.
• Coordinate across design, permitting, procurement, and construction teams.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead internal and external project reviews, reporting progress and resolving issues proactively.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years managing construction projects, preferably in energy or infrastructure.
• Skilled in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive, solutions-first mindset.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings with confidence.
• Based in NYC with a willingness to be in the office full-time

Nice to Have:

• Experience with clean energy or grid-connected infrastructure projects.
• Electrical background or familiarity with energy systems.
• PMP certification.
• Expertise in cost estimation and project budgeting.
