Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to support a major cloud migration initiative within a global financial services organization. This role is responsible for planning and overseeing all activities tied to migration wave execution, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with internal program standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels in cross-functional collaboration, and has a strong track record in managing large-scale cloud migrations and associated change activities.

This is a contract role created for a strategic growth venture, focused on cloud modernization. The Product Manager will work closely with Technology Operations Managers, PMO leads, and migration teams to ensure timely and successful cloud transitions.

This position is based onsite at our offices in New York City, Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL and will require a hands-on approach to project execution, planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migration Wave Management: Oversee migration planning and execution activities across multiple client teams; track activity milestones and ensure timely closures in the firm’s Scheduling and Migration Tool.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular communication with Technical Operations Managers (TOMs), PMO leads, and impacted application teams to align on migration readiness and changes.

• Issue & Risk Reporting: Maintain RAID logs, report risks in daily standups, and ensure "path to green" is documented and actioned for all escalated items.

• Pre-Migration Planning: Organize and lead pre-migration meetings with stakeholders per migration wave; capture completion evidence and review compliance standards.

• Migration Playbook Development: Build and maintain comprehensive migration playbooks to standardize processes and expectations across waves.

• Office Hours Facilitation: Host regular stakeholder office hours to address migration-related questions, concerns, and dependencies.

• Change Management: Review and manage requests for migration date changes; ensure proper change control compliance and alignment with program requirements.

• Program Compliance: Ensure full adherence to the SDLC, internal audit standards, and broader program governance protocols.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project or product management, preferably in a cloud migration or infrastructure modernization context

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to influence without authority

• Demonstrated ability to lead transition planning and manage project dependencies in complex environments

• Familiarity with RAID logs, SDLC practices, and structured change management frameworks

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong documentation skills and ability to develop standardized playbooks and process templates

• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Confluence, and SharePoint

Preferred Experience:

• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus

• Background in software development, IT infrastructure, or data analytics

• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries

• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills

• Experience hosting internal office hours, managing late activity reporting, and conducting structured stakeholder follow-ups

Why Join Us:

This is a critical opportunity to support one of the firm’s top modernization efforts, impacting a wide range of enterprise applications. As Product Manager for this initiative, you will play a central role in enabling seamless migration execution, optimizing stakeholder communication, and driving compliance across the organization.
