Technical Project Manager – Electro-Mechanical Systems
Salary: $140k – $180k (Depending on experience)
Location: White Plain, NY (On-site)
 
A cutting-edge technology firm is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional hardware-software projects in advanced electro-mechanical systems. This role combines engineering insight with agile execution to bring innovative devices from concept to launch.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end project delivery across engineering, quality, and operations
• Manage timelines, resources, and risks for complex hardware-software systems
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams
• Facilitate design reviews, test planning, and production readiness
• Align activities with quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485)
• Communicate status, risks, and decisions across stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering or another relevant discipline
• Strong industry experience leading multidisciplinary projects in regulated tech (medtech, robotics, aerospace)
• Strong grasp of product development, testing, and launch processes
• Skilled in agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Proficient with tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
• Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Systems)
• Familiarity with medical device standards a plus (FDA, ISO)
• PMP certification a bonus
