Junior Catalog Content Lead
Job Summary:
The Content Lead is a leader who will develop and execute strategies to provide the automotive aftermarket with the latest content information to drive growth. This role will be responsible for providing customers with the catalog data and expertise to best support the Standard Motor Products content. The Content Lead must possess a combination of relationship development, digital content, data architecture skills, and strategic thinking to both articulate a vision and drive that vision into an actionable plan.
Primary Duties
- Work collaboratively with internal partners in Marketing, Sales, and Category Management to maintain customer expectations
- Manage the SMP master data and focus on the accuracy and completeness of content as well as the delivery of that content across both internal and external channels
- Export SMP content utilizing the latest AutoCare tables
- Maintain up-to-date mapping for SMP core data
- Partnering to build productive relationships with customer content leads to driving continuous improvement in electronic content and continued growth in the eCommerce segment
- Maintaining the integrity of SMP’s industry-leading catalog through active data management and utilization/development of systems and processes.
- Ensure we are servicing the various product data needs of internal and external partners. In a consistent manner
- Engage with Industry groups and partners to help build, shape, and evolve information exchange in the automotive aftermarket.
- Established experience in working directly with customers and leading projects cross-functionally
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to help the team drive the process
- Track record of thinking strategically and aligning execution to top-level strategy
- Working knowledge of aftermarket data standards [ACES]
- Commitment to driving continuous improvement of processes as a core focus, collaborating with both internal and external partners
- Knowledge of automotive aftermarket data standards [ACES & PIES]
- Knowledgeable with MS Access and or SQL Server
- B.S./B.S./B.A. degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration
- 3+ years in Automotive Aftermarket Retail and/or Manufacturing or related field.
