Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Key Contributions You Will Make:

• Financial Stewardship: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of financial models, forecasts, and budgets, providing insightful analysis of performance against targets.
• Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting cycle, collaborating with departmental leaders to align financial goals and resource allocation.
• Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend analyses to senior leadership and the Board, highlighting critical metrics and areas for focus.
• Cash Flow Management: Develop and manage short- and long-term cash flow projections to support liquidity planning and strategic investment decisions.
• Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting systems, leveraging automation where possible.
• Business Intelligence: Construct and refine financial models to inform key business decisions, including investment opportunities, pricing strategies, labor optimization, and cost control initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with various business units to ensure financial data is effectively integrated into operational and strategic decision-making.
• Operational Support: Provide financial analysis to support operational efficiency, including cost assessments, inventory performance tracking, and alignment of logistics metrics with financial objectives.
• Marketing Effectiveness: Analyze marketing and advertising spend, assessing risks and opportunities against budget, recommending actions, and evaluating overall financial impact.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct specialized financial analyses to provide critical perspectives and recommendations on various business challenges.

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance, with a strong preference for backgrounds within the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit retail sectors.
• Solid understanding of unit economics, P&L dynamics, and operational models specific to multi-unit businesses.
• Exceptional proficiency in Excel and advanced financial modeling techniques. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• A "can-do" attitude with a strong eagerness and capability to learn and grow with the company.
