About the Role
The Associate Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team and will be responsible for supporting firmwide recruiting efforts, including the summer program, entry-level hiring, and campus outreach, while serving as a liaison to law schools and executing associate recruiting strategies. This role will be located in our New York Office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Developing relationships with and serving as the firm liaison to law schools, career services colleagues, student organizations, vendors, and other recruitment professionals
- Coordinating firmwide logistics for the summer program, including planning orientation, programming, and events
- Coordinating firmwide logistics for entry-level hiring of associates, including application launch, back-end ATS management, and administrative support
- Keeping up-to-date on the legal hiring market, including trends and policies
- Developing budgets and monitoring recruiting expenses
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
- Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services

Pay Range
USD $65,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
