Barstool Sports is seeking a Producer/Editor focused on the ItGirl brand. The ideal candidate will be hands-on at every step of the production process for multiple concurrent projects. This role relies on editorial proficiency, a keen eye for detail, and willingness to travel for on site productions.
This will begin as a freelance position (3 months) with a possibility to become full-time. You must be able to work on-site in our New York office, flexible with travel, open to working nights and weekends, and provide a reel or portfolio of work.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for pre & post-production as well as the delivery of a multitude of shows, videos, podcasts, and social clips
- Work on various types of productions ranging from studio shows, run-and-gun content, vlogs, interviews, women on the street, live events, and more.
- Work directly with talent to develop highly produced content.
- Work directly with other production staff on the ItGirl team
- Be forward thinking and problem-solve production/scheduling issues.
- Minimum 2+ years experience.
- A strong interest in pop culture, social media trends, and It Girl videos specifically.
- Creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop content that resonates with the unique voice of It Girl.
- Strong experience editing content for digital platforms.
- The ability to craft a compelling narrative that aligns with our brand ethos.
- Knowledge about Barstool Sports and our content.
- Sense of urgency and knowledge of production timelines
- Background in shooting
- Organizational and collaborative skills, as well as an ability to prioritize, are a must.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel for shoots and productions, as needed.
- An up-to-date production reel showcasing your work.
