Product Software Engineer IV

Wolters Kluwer United States Inc. seeks Product Software Engineer IV in New York, NY. •Provide Technical Design and Architecture guidance to the development team and supervise the work Contingent Workers including work allocation, code reviews, engagement, feedback, and remove impediments.•Work with the Product Management Team to understand the vision and roadmap for the products and get the Development team aligned and excited around the product vision.•Breakdown product features to manageable technical deliverables, provide technical feasibility, and estimation.•Understand all the discrete systems and components of the solution and build a cohesive, reusable, secure, and reliable solution.•Work with architects to design and build a solution that can scale horizontally and vertically to support processing 10s of millions of records.•Act as the Security Champion for the product line, implement Threat Modeling, Secure Coding practices, static/dynamic scans, PEN Tests, and other Security controls.•Work with customers and professional services team as needed to understand their requirements and implement solutions.The positions supervises 4 subordinate employees in the roles of Contractors (Developers).Telecommuting permitted.Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 8 years of related experience. Additionally, position requires any amount of experience with all of the following:•C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server Database skills.•UI Development skills including Angular, Angular Material, ASP.NET, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, and XML.•Object-oriented design and MVC framework.•Deploying and configuring IIS Web Server applications for Performance and Security.•Building Business Intelligence Analytics and workflow automation. $162,864.00 - $254,500.00 per year.
