Job Description
Understand and analyze large dataset use Excel tools to create tracking systems.
Prepare journal entries, reports, account analysis, investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
Track tenants’ applications for rental assistance programs administered by HPD, OTDA and NYCHA.
Update and maintain database systems for accounting, tracking & reporting to be used by various departments.
Prepare and assist in the submission of payment request to stakeholders for reimbursement of tenant arrears from various government entities.
Sound knowledge of accounting for revenue and receivables with respect to government funding.
Perform complex financial analyses and statistical computations of tenant aging reports and other tenant datasets.
Research and answer financial inquiries submitted by government stakeholders, NYCHA staff, and other entities.
Participate in special accounting projects as required.

Qualification Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.

Salary Max: $ 71,800.00
