What the day will look like

Assist the Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, running key processes that serve clients (including sophisticated clients) and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. The Account Manager will also assist Brokers (as necessary) particularly in the Commercial Risk business.

• Perform submission assembly/creation where assigned. Facilitates the timely and accurate flow of information between clients, and account team members.
• Maintain client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
• Gathers and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
• Lead, support and monitor the renewal process. At the direction of the Broker, drafts quote comparisons and follows up for binders, policies, and endorsements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed efficiently and of the highest quality for client deliverables.
• Be the primary collaborator with Premium Accounting on client billing matters.
• Answer routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
• Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, Worker's Compensation posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
• May provide guidance and mentoring to a less senior account specialist. Delegates work to support staff and ACS where applicable.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

• 3+ years of previous commercial insurance experience strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain effective and positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Effective organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple, non-congruent tasks simultaneously.

Education and licensing requirements:

• Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred, or to be acquired within 120 days of start date
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
