How you will contribute

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our legal team. Reporting to a senior member of the A& M legal department, this key role involves working closely with business leaders to navigate legal issues related to service contracts, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate has strong commercial contract experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate client engagement letters, master service agreements, confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements, and other contracts.
• Provide legal counsel on risk management, compliance, and business operations.
• Evaluate and advise on legal matters related to intellectual property, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, technology, new service offerings and other matters relating to professional services.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and senior personnel, offering practical and actionable legal guidance.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement legal risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7-12 years of legal experience, including at least 2-3 years in-house.
• Law firm experience in commercial transactions or litigation preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership (NY or FL preferred).

The salary range is $180, 000 - $215, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
