Job Title: Case Picker and Reach Truck Operator
Job Description
The Case Picker and Reach Truck Operator is responsible for accurately picking and staging cases for shipment using a reach truck and other material handling equipment. This role ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining safety and inventory integrity in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Operate reach trucks proficiently in narrow aisles and high racks.
Accurately pick cases based on order sheets or RF scanners.
Ensure inventory accuracy by maintaining correct product counts and minimizing shrinkage.
Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.
Navigate warehouse management systems for tracking and updating inventory.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reach truck operation.
Experience with RF scanners.
Certification in forklift/reach truck operation.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in cold storage or high-volume distribution centers.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail in picking, labeling, and staging orders.
Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying quantities.
Clear communication skills for team interactions.
Problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Adaptability to changing environments and processes.
OSHA Forklift Certification preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in logistics or distribution centers is advantageous.
Knowledge of Lean or 5S Principles.
Bilingual abilities in Spanish/English are beneficial.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
