Customer Service Specialist

Job Title: Customer Service Specialist

Location: Newark, NJ



Type: Contract

Compensation: $19 - $22 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm



Description:

+ Greet and assist walk-in visitors; direct them to appropriate staff.

+ Respond to general inquiries via phone and in person; document all interactions in system of record.

+ Maintain and monitor front desk traffic and waiting area environment.

+ Track and report weekly data on visitors and phone inquiries.

+ Escalate concerns involving discrimination or legal complaints to management.

+ Support a professional, team-oriented work environment and perform other assigned duties.







Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus.

+ 3+ years of administrative and customer service experience preferred.

+ Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.

+ Comfortable working with diverse populations and in a busy setting.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment.

+ Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) preferred.
