Full Job DescriptionQA Test EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented QA Test Engineer to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of our products by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and exceptional analytical skills, enabling them to contribute to our commitment to excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement test plans for software and hardware products.Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Prepare detailed reports of test results and defects found during testing.Participate in meetings with clients to understand their requirements and provide feedback on product performance.Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in quality assurance and testing.Assist in the development of automated testing scripts and frameworks. yesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in quality assurance and testing methodologies.Strong understanding of Capital Equipment, VoIP, and Networking technologies.Familiarity with Cisco and Avaya systems is preferred.Experience in telephony and communications systems.Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and embedded firmware testing.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.Valid WI Fire and Casualty License is a plus.Experience in sales engineering and client management is an advantage.Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ is desirable.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
