This team builds UI and visualization platforms, executive reporting tools, and integrated access points into a broad data domain. You will work closely with engineering leads to create a unified platform that supports reporting, data exploration, and front‑end access for business users. The environment is fast‑moving and agile, with new projects every two months, requiring flexibility, innovation, and a passion for solving challenging technical problems.
Experience of the Right Candidate

- Experience building cross‑functional, broadly scoped platforms with high test coverage.
- Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, or CloudFormation.
- History of delivering critical projects under tight timelines, working independently and proactively.
- Performance tuning expertise for large data set front‑ends and visualization platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Technical degree required and must reside in a hub location (Seattle or Santa Monica).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with large‑scale data libraries (e.g., Druid).
- Knowledge of shared React component libraries and documentation practices.
- Experience with Kafka, Amazon SQS, or Kinesis.
- Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud‑native platforms.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate
- Develop full‑stack applications that unify disparate business tools into a consistent, coherent platform.
- Write clean, optimized, well‑tested code in NodeJS/TypeScript/React.
- Build and maintain front‑end access points, visualization tools, and data exploration features.
- Collaborate with design and test teammates to deliver high‑quality, testable features on tight timelines.
- Participate in code reviews, team planning sessions, and architectural discussions.
- Support a broad platform of associated tooling through on‑call rotation as needed.
- Contribute to frameworks, environments, build systems, and tooling that enable platform scalability.
- Write clear documentation for platform functionality and processes to aid knowledge transfer.
- Participate in strategic analysis of existing technologies, future projects, and architectural decisions.
- Uphold best practices in shared code, maintainability, and process optimization.
