Bridge Back to Life is a licensed OASAS Center providing Outpatient Addiction and Counseling Services in the Metropolitan New York area since 1988. Our treatment philosophy focuses on recovery from alcohol, drug, or mood-altering substance dependence and offers support for families and significant others. Our professional team incorporates Evidence-Based Practices and FDA-approved medications when clinically appropriate to provide comprehensive care.
Role Description
We are currently seeking experienced Substance Abuse Counselors and a Clinical Director for our Staten Island clinic. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for developing treatment plans, conducting case management, addressing chemical dependency issues, providing relapse prevention strategies, and supporting mental health needs. The counselor will work closely with clients to help them make positive changes in their lifestyles and support their journey towards recovery. The Clinical Director's responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the clinic, including program development, OASAS compliance, training and retention of staff, clinical supervisor, and QA/UR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and screenings for substance use disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
- Provide individual counseling sessions
- Facilitate group therapy sessions
- Deliver crisis intervention and support services as needed
- Maintain consistent engagement with patients throughout their treatment
- Manage an assigned caseload and provide comprehensive case management
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director/Supervisor, addiction medicine providers, and support staff
- Ensure compliance with all OASAS regulations and internal program protocols
- Document clinical services and client progress accurately and timely manner
Requirements:
- Credential or license as a CASAC, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or working under a limited permit or internship with appropriate supervision
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, interdisciplinary environment
- Clinical Director must have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in an SUD setting.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
