We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to be part of our School Response Team (SRT) in Manhattan. If you're ready to bring heart and expertise to support NYC students and families—this is your calling.
As a Social Worker on the SRT, you'll work alongside a Program Coordinator and Parent Advocate across five Manhattan schools (Elementary to High School). You’ll be the compassionate first responder to emotional and mental health needs in the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and provide short-term counseling
- Diagnose emotional and behavioral conditions
- Deliver crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Facilitate workshops for parents and school staff
- Collaborate with school teams to support holistic wellness
✅ What We’re Looking For
- LMSW, LCSW, or MSW (with limited permit)
- Bilingual Spanish/English (required)
- Background in crisis response or clinical social work preferred
- Confident in navigating emotionally complex situations
- A strong collaborator with a team-oriented mindset
