Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Conducting detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the organization's financial health.
• Maintaining the general ledger and reconciling account discrepancies.
• Developing and maintaining budgeting and forecasting models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accepted policies and regulations.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Collaborating with the management team to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis, general ledger management, forecasting, and financial statements.
• Proficiency in management accounting, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• A professional accounting certification (such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
