Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Assistant located in Queens, NY. Some work from home is acceptable. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient care, performing clinical tasks, taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

Medical assisting skills such as taking vital signs and assisting with examinations
Patient care and documentation skills
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Experience in a medical office setting is a plus
