About the Role:
Audo Copenhagen is seeking a passionate and driven Wholesale & Retail Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will champion our brand presence across the U.S. and Canada by cultivating high-quality retail and e-commerce partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales leader with deep industry knowledge and a strong network in the furniture, lighting, and home décor space to shape and grow a leading design brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Managing Director Americas to develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth across wholesale and retail channels.
- Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with Partner Sales Teams, buyers, and merchandisers.
- Drive sales through effective account management, client communication, and strategic partnership development.
- Manage all aspects of Dropship partner relationships, anticipating needs and ensuring operational excellence.
- Lead the setup and maintenance of retail store displays and branded shop-in-shop installations.
- Work cross-functionally with the Sales Support Team to manage orders, create quotes, and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
- Identify and open new distribution opportunities while maintaining a high-quality retail network.
- Deliver presentations with clarity, confidence, and persuasion to a range of audiences
- Travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada, with occasional trips to Europe, as needed (50–60%).
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends based on client or event needs.
- Develop sales forecasts and contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and performance reporting for wholesale and retail channels.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging retail/e-commerce models to inform growth strategies
- Support training and product education for partner sales teams to ensure alignment with Audo’s brand and value proposition
- Collaborate with the Brand and Visual teams to ensure consistent, premium execution of merchandising across all points of sale
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- 5–10 years of successful sales experience in the consumer goods or interior design industry.
- Deep understanding of wholesale and retail landscapes, including dropship models.
- Strong track record in building client relationships and achieving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into action.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorships
- Strong understanding of the design community and how to engage architects, interior designers, and tastemakers as part of a go-to-market strategy
- Experience working with online retailers or marketplace platforms a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Passion for Scandinavian or modern design and the ability to represent a high-end lifestyle brand with authenticity.
