This is not your typical back-office insurance gig. We’re partnered with a rapidly scaling, private equity–backed carrier that’s doubling its premium base, investing in top-tier leadership, and building out a modern finance function from the ground up.

They’re hiring a Senior Accountant to own close processes, investment reporting, treasury, and statutory filings — all in a hands-on, fast-moving, low-ego environment.

📍 Location: Midtown NYC – 3 days onsite

💵 Comp: $110-125k base + ~30% bonus + 401(k) + strong benefits

What you’ll do:

• Manage components of monthly close and reporting (GAAP & statutory)
• Prepare investment schedules (Schedule D, DA, DL, E), journal entries, and cash reporting
• Support Bluebook filings and external audits
• Help improve processes and contribute to finance system upgrades
• Collaborate with colleagues across FL, NJ, and IL

What we’re looking for:

• 3-8+ years of insurance accounting experience (P&C preferred)
• Comfort with insurance accounting, investment accounting, cash ops, treasury, and statutory reporting a huge plus
• Hands-on and proactive — low-ego team player
• Familiarity with Workday, Excel a plus
