Job Description
We’re looking for a data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to lead our customer acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion efforts. This is a "doer" role for someone who can build processes from zero to one in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll spearhead cross-functional growth initiatives, run high-velocity experimentation, and own the strategy for scaling marketing programs that directly impact revenue. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, product, and analytics—perfect for someone who’s equal parts strategist, operator, and builder.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Growth & GTM Strategy with a focus on Outbound: Define the roadmap for scalable growth initiatives tied to Upscale AI’s business goals, with a strong emphasis on proven outbound channels like LinkedIn and email.
- Execute Scaled Outbound Campaigns: Design, implement, and optimize LinkedIn and scaled email outbound campaigns to generate engagement and booked calls.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Launch rapid experiments across relevant channels to improve acquisition and conversion metrics, using a data-driven approach to iterate and scale high-performing tactics.
- Process Building: Establish and refine repeatable marketing processes from the ground up, demonstrating a deep understanding of the inner workings of outbound strategies.
- Content & Messaging for Outbound: Craft segment-specific messaging and campaign playbooks for Shopify merchants, tailored for effective outbound communication.
- Translate insights into action plans that drive measurable results.
- Leverage industry insights to differentiate Upscale AI in a crowded market.
- Manage and optimize sponsored ad campaigns on social platforms (e.g., Instagram, X) to drive awareness, leads, and pipeline growth, as secondary channels.
- Develop and scale partnerships with affiliates, influencers, and strategic sponsors to amplify reach and drive qualified demand.
Preferred Qualifications
- You have 5+ years of experience driving measurable results in a similar-sized B2B SaaS or AdTech startup environment, including GTM execution, A/B testing, funnel optimization, and deep familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms.
- Proven expertise in running LinkedIn and email outbound campaigns to generate engagement and booked calls.
- You are a data-driven individual with a strong ability to analyze performance, derive actionable insights, and make data-informed decisions.
- You’re a strong communicator who can translate complex performance data into executive-ready insights.
- You’ve directly marketed to Shopify merchants and understand their unique needs.
- Experience working with modern and AI marketing tools like Clay.com or Apollo and are excited to push the boundaries of automation and experimentation.
