About The Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, problem-solving Continuous Improvement and Systems Specialist who is willing to wear many hats and is constantly looking for ways to improve any process . Our business supports schools and institutions with food and supply distribution, and the work moves quickly. You’ll be willing to learn and research background information and whatever the project at hand is. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, cares about doing things right, and wants to help build smarter, more efficient systems — especially in a business that’s scaling fast.
What You’ll Do
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across various business functions (including an inventory system, a CRM, Project management, new business procurement, etc.)
- Assist training and support staff on new systems and processes, ensuring adoption and efficiency.
- Implement technical solutions to automate manual processes and data integrations between information sources (API connections, app scripts, etc)
- Develop (or improve) data visualization and KPI dashboards, and general information availability in the organization.
- Track and manage projects, setting and achieving aggressive deadlines.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders involved in new business projects.
- Respond and adapt to the needs of the business.
- A strong sense of ownership and pride in seeing things through.
- Attention to detail, especially when it comes to products, deadlines, and upper management requests.
- A self-starter with a bias for action — you don’t wait to be told what to do.
- Excellent communication skills — clear, respectful, and proactive.
- High proficiency in Excel, high proficiency in using AI tools to find solutions to problems, ability to connect APIs, and ideally some software background. Experience with CRM software or ERP software
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and thrive in an environment where things change daily.
- A team player who genuinely wants to help build better systems and take the company to the next level.
- Bachelor’s Degree in operations management, chemical or industrial engineering, project management, or some business field , or related field required.
- Competitive salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year.

Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position >95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and mobile Smartphone device. Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. This position requires traveling from Long Island City to the Bronx as needed.
