Job TitleSenior Editor, Nostalgia, Society & CultureJob Description*About The Position | *Major goals and objectives and location requirementsSenior Editor will oversee People's Nostalgia and Previral verticals, producing compelling news and feature stories in digital and occasionally print and ensure that they keep up with the fast-moving news cycle and meet our high-quality, journalistic standards. The ideal candidate is steeped in the nostalgic entertainment industry, has far-reaching contacts, is passionate about socially-sourced pitches and knows how to find unique and compelling stories in both content areas.The SE will manage our team of Nostalgia and Previral writers and digital editors, working closely with them to brainstorm news coverage, ideate breakout posts, assign reporting, craft sharp headlines and edit copy.An experienced user of analytics tools and an audience engagement expert, the SE will mine traffic data to identify areas of growth and inspire the team to build upon wins. The SE will also collaborate with editors from other verticals as well as with the People video, photo and design departments to oversee both Nostalgia and Previral coverage across various platforms. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
