Electrical Instructor

APEX is looking for a highly skilled Electrical Instructor to teach hands-on work with a group of students who are eager to learn. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience required. You supply the skills and we supply everything else, even the tools!

Knowledge

· Install and repair various electrical equipment and fixtures

· Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems

· Troubleshoot motor and control systems

· Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems

· Security and Fire Alarm System Installation

· Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications

· Proficient in reading blueprints, manuals, and electrical schematics

· Highly skilled in working with electrical equipment and hand tools

· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

· 3 years of field experience

· High School Diploma or GED

Shifts

• Full-Time Instructors (Daytime): Ideal for those who can commit to daytime hours. Teach and inspire the next generation of professionals with your hands-on experience and industry knowledge.
• Part-Time Instructors (Evening): Perfect for those looking for flexible work. Classes are held 2 to 3 nights a week, starting at 6 PM.

Compensation

• Base salary of $51,432 with opportunity for additional earnings by teaching additional classes. Teaching days plus 2 evenings brings earnings to $71,000. Teaching days plus 4 evenings brings comp to $90,000.
